Cody Jackson, 20, from Salt Lake City in Ohio has been accused of impregnating a 14-year-old girl he held captive for 4 months. The police charged him for enticement and coercion of a minor to engage in sexual activity. He also faces four counts of rape, four counts of unlawful sexual contact with a minor, one count of interference with custody and one count of kidnapping.
Police revealed that Jackson contacted the 14-year-old through social networking site Facebook. He first asked her to meet him in his house and arranged a taxi for her, this went on for a week, because he could not leave the house he was electronically monitored by the police.
In September last year the 20-year-old was placed under electronic monitoring after being charged with interference with abduction, kidnapping and custody and was also suspected of holding two females against their will in August last year. He was released, but authorities could track his movements using an electronic tag as their probe continued. The conditions of his bail state that he must remain in his home.
Police revealed that Jackson regularly had sex with the 14-year-old girl, set up 'rules for her to follow' and also controlled her social media accounts. However, things changed when he began to verbally and physically assault the her. In one of her visits, Jackson told the girl that she cannot leave the house and limited the girl's communication with her family.
Things became even more sour as the girl became pregnant after many sexual encounters with Jackson through the months.
The 14-year-old couldn't take it anymore, she escaped the apartment prompting police to arrest Jackson. He was arrested on October 8. He has been accused of using Facebook to transfer child pornography. He faces hard times ahead.
