Hold your breath ladies, Jason Derulo is a single man again!
According to TMZ, the 26-year-old ‘Whatcha Say’ singer and his girlfriend Daphne Joy have decided to pull the plug on their relationship of seven months. The former couple, who officially started dating in January, reportedly have no hard feelings towards each other even though it is said that Daphne was the one who decided to end it.
Jason and Daphne met in the UK late last year and started seeing each other discreetly. The pair eventually made their relationship public after Jason shared a photo of himself cuddling Daphne on Instagram. Daphne, who is mother to 50 Cent’s son, Sire Jackson, first denied they were an item before finally admitting it via Snapchat.
A couple of days ago, Jason was seen at a hotel in Miami with several pretty women in bikinis surrounding him. He was also recently spotted riding solo on the red carpet at an iHeart Radio event.
Jason shot into the spotlight in 2010 with his popular hit song Whatcha Say. Over the past few years, he has achieved 11 platinum singles including hit song Wiggle which features Snoop Dogg, Talk Dirty and In my Head. His single Want to Want Me, which is off his last album Everything is 4, became the most-added track in the history of Top 40 radio after peaking at number five on the Billboard Hot 100.
